Say...My...Name

Well.....here we are everyone.

Perhaps you haven't been here since the beginning, maybe you've only been here just a few months, days, or even just now checking out this page, that's fine too.  I'm never one to be picky when it comes to anyone who's kind enough to visit this page.

When notice of my upcoming 100,000 hits, I felt like like there should be a sudden flood of deviants from past and now coming to this picture to celebrate it with but I think that was shorsighted.  From all the many years I've been here, supporting all of you, sharing your sorrows, your joys and even your time spent away from DA, its all been quite a journey.

As easy it could be for me to get lost into the past of what-ifs and who has left the site or never spoke to me again, I want to thank EVERY deviant out there for giving me an experience on this site and thus where it has left me today.

I spent some fair time going back and reading through all the old comments, looking at the old artwork and seeing that same love, tenderness of both the art and its people who commented on it.  To say that I haven't full experience of DeviantArt just because I'm just another artist would be a great insult.

Thanks to this site I took my first steps into digital art media from traditional means   --, I have managed to meet some deviants face to face and truly know the person behind the avatar -- --.  And hell, I even managed to learn an entirely new art program from the kindness of another deviant through Skype -- .  As you might expect, I could go on for quite some time. ^O^
So many crazy tales I have accumulated, the many messages and replies I've saved in my personal collection from my dearest friends, and even the fan work and gift images credited to myself or the artwork here.  I'm just so thankful to have been able to experienced all of these good wishes.

I never want to question why I love this place, but while there are time of doubt like I'm sure we all face from time to time, I always remember that this place is a community of people who are just like you.  People who love to draw, people who love to create, have fun, connect and bring it all together from a blank piece of white paper or an empty landscape.

It would be wrong to say that I have achieved this many hits from drawing sexy curves on alluring poses of women alone.  Instead I much rather share a tip of the hat towards all you that made this page possible, this art possible and this artist possible.  Every piece of artwork shares itself a memory and I will always continue to love EVERY piece of art that I draw.

And yet, I am humble and just as much grateful on how you have all been to me (good, bad, or otherwise).  Its been a learning experience unlike any other place I've ever experienced.  And it will be one that I'll never take back.
